6/4/09 My first visit to Germany

So today after class, my classmates and I decided to go to Germany for dinner. The town of Kehl is only a 15 min tram ride from our hotel in Strasbourg, and so we made the journey accross the Rhine River to Germany, and what did I find? Trees, beer and water!

It was really really pretty, as you can see! The second picture is the bridge that President Obama and French President Sarkozy met and shook hands just a week and a half ago. Thus we nick named it the Obama Bridge... i'm sure it has another name but, its in German :-)

The fourth picture is of my meal at this amazing resteraunt on a lake not far from the Rhine River. I had Curry-wurst and German Fries! The beer you see there was the small .5 liter, yum yum!

I also met some german musicians in the square! My first trip to Germany was really awesome and I look forward to going again tomorrow, this time to Munich!!!
